Meet the team

In her role as Aged Care Manager, Lucy oversees the daily operations at both our Bainswood on Victoria and Bainlea House facilities. Lucy has a substantial clinical background, acquired in New Zealand and abroad, and has successfully led large teams to fulfil organisational needs and priorities.
Lucy holds extensive qualifications in nursing and primary care and is consistently striving for professional growth. Currently, she is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Health, including a focus on health service management.
Lucy is passionate about delivering the highest quality care and driving quality improvement initiatives into our aged care homes.
Outside work, Lucy loves to spend time developing her garden.

Carol is a registered psychiatric nurse with a wealth of experience in caring for older adults, including in a secure dementia care setting. In her role as clinical manager, Carol ensures Ministry of Health certification standards are maintained through appropriate policies and procedures, and identifies clinical care needs for each resident.
Carol emigrated to NZ in 2007 from Scotland and started working at Bainlea House in August 2009. Carol has genuine empathy for older people and easily relates to residents, staff, families and relatives.

Raewyn is Aged Care Manager at Bainswood House Rest Home and Retirement Village, where she has worked since February 2011. Raewyn has over 35 years of experience as an enrolled nurse/nurse manager throughout New Zealand and Australia. Prior to working in the rest home field, she worked for eleven years in specialist dementia care.
As Aged Care Manager, Raewyn ensures residents receive a high level of care and works closely with our local medical practitioners. Raewyn is an enthusiastic member of the Rangiora Lifecare team and loves undertaking new challenges.

Elsie is the manager of Holmwood, our newest care home, and has an impressive 40 years of experience in aged care. Her journey began as a Registered Nurse before progressing to Clinical Manager. For the past eight years she has been a Facility Manager, joining Holmwood two years ago. Elsie has also worked as an assessor for Nurse Maude and has extensive experience in palliative care.
Staff education is a top priority to ensure the team provides the best care. Elsie holds an Adult Teaching Certificate and is a Registered Careerforce Assessor.
Living locally, Elsie is a country music enthusiast who often attends clubs with her husband to listen and sing in her spare time.
